On Wednesday 9th November, the Celebration of the City event sees the launch of the Birmingham Gems 2017 calendar. A brand new project by BirminghamWeAre, in association with IntheCity magazine, sets out to recognise the continuing success of Birmingham by introducing a limited edition calendar that pays respect to the city’s unique heritage.
The final calendar contains 12 large and 12 small prints, submitted by passionate individuals that live and work in Birmingham from amateur photographers to seasoned professionals. Each print will also be accompanied by a related ‘Did you know’ fact. In keeping with the spirit of Birmingham, proceeds from the calendar will support three charities: a local, regional, and global project.
