Claudia Santillo, chair of the BYPY committee and founder of legal recruitment consultancy Santillo Consulting, said: “The support of our sponsors is enormously important to us. Having such high profile, enthusiastic and committed sponsors on board shows every young professional the encouragement and belief that these organisations have in their future. Our sponsors for 2014 are demonstrating an investment in the success of young professionals in the city, and we are immensely proud to align BPS Birmingham Future and BYPY with each of them for the event.
2014 will also see BYPY continuing its relationship with leadership development organisation Common Purpose, which will provide a place on its Navigator course for emerging leaders to the overall winner to support them in developing their leadership skills and networks.
Claudia continued: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors and partners for their ongoing and invaluable support on behalf of the BPS Birmingham Future, BYPY committee and also our nominees. We have found a selection of young people that are truly inspirational and the support received from this year’s sponsors has been instrumental to celebrating their successes.
The 2014 BYPY awards event takes place at the ICC on Thursday 1 May and will be hosted by BBC Breakfast presenter and journalist, Naga Munchetty. Steve Hollis, previous chairman of KMPG and current deputy chair of the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership leads the judging panel, which comprises senior representatives of the city’s business community.
