SimkissGuy Director recognised as Outstanding Great British Entrepreneur!

SimkissGuy Recruitment are absolutely delighted to announce that our very own Becky Simkiss, Joint-Managing Director, has been announced as a finalist in the nationally-esteemed Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020.
Having worked within the recruitment industry for over 16 years, Becky has established formidable CV herself – managing a successful and entrepreneurial recruitment consultancy for eight years, establishing and organising multiple, popular networking events across the city, holding the position as Vice Chair and Trustee of much-loved Birmingham charity LoveBrum and working as a co-founder and member of the executive team for West Midlands Women’s Voice, alongside spending time coaching and mentoring students and business professionals alike.
This work to date has already seen Becky recognised with an impressive collection of awards, including Birmingham Woman of the Year in 2018, Birmingham Businesswoman of the Year 2017, and a Fellowship from Birmingham Metropolitan College in 2016.
The Great British Entrepreneur awards celebrate the successes of the nation’s most notable businesses, highlighting the significant contribution those leading them have made on their regions. The Service Industries Entrepreneur award, in particular, is reserved for business innovators who lead the way in their respective sector and offer something unique in their field.
The ceremony itself will be taking place remotely on the 23rd September, where one finalist from the region will be crowned as the 2020 Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year. The winner will then go on to be judged against those from the other regions, with one taking home the title of the Great British Entrepreneur of the Year. All of the team will be keeping fingers crossed for Becky on the evening, as we know she wholeheartedly deserves this prestigious accolade – even if we are a little biased!
