SimkissGuy crowned as Best Newcomer Business in the West Midlands!

It may only be June, but it has already been quite a year for SimkissGuy!
With our very own Relationship Manager, Amelia Ladbrook, being recognised as one of three finalists in the Aspiring Talent category of the prestigious BPS Birmingham Future BYPY Awards in May, we were delighted by the news in June that we had been selected as one of three finalists in The Business Desk’s West Midlands Business Masters Awards, Best Newcomer Business Category!
Always happy to dust off the bow tie (Richard) and cocktail dresses (everyone else!), we went along to the event at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on the 18th June with no other expectation than to meet some interesting businesses and have an enjoyable evening.
So to say that we were shocked when BBC News presenter Sarah Falkland announced SimkissGuy Recruitment as winners of Best Newcomer Business, is putting it mildly!
We were later told that our commitment to director-led service, our bespoke approach to both clients and candidates, and our market leading guarantee, were a few of the reasons why we were selected.
Nearly a week later, with our beautiful award sat proudly in the office, the news still hasn’t really sunk in!
We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to the judging panel for such an unexpected honour and congratulations to all other winners and finalists who took part.
Looking forward to next year already!
