With the current challenges facing all sectors of the economy and still just 2 years on from the pandemic, like many businesses, we weren’t sure what 2023 would bring as here at SimkissGuy Recruitment we celebrated our 10th birthday. However, as we head towards the halfway point in the year, we are delighted to say that 2023 so far has brought a strong increase in new clients as well as long-term clients continuing to recruit in steady numbers, with the overall attitude from our clients being one of optimism.
We continue to see high demand for strong Sales, Business Development and Marketing candidates as companies look to drive business growth, but in the last few months there has been a real appetite for corresponding administrative, operational and support staff too. Whilst immediately post-pandemic, candidates were reticent to leave secure roles, there has been a really notable increase in the number of strong and highly skilled candidates now coming to us on the lookout for their next role, which has been fantastic to see.
Overall, the recruitment market has bounced back remarkably well and at SimkissGuy we remain incredibly grateful for all of our long-term as well as new clients who continue to put their faith in us to secure them the best new talent for their business.
