At SimkissGuy Recruitment, we have long supported LoveBrum, a registered charity that engages with local people and businesses to help build an even better Birmingham. They provide funding and support to hidden gem projects and charities that deliver real change, with outcomes that can be seen, measured and enjoyed by our communities.
They are now seeking 1 Trustee and a number of Board Members to help deliver LoveBrum’s vital work within Birmingham. The roles available are:

  • Marketing Trustee

Due to a board restructure an exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced marketing professional to join LoveBrum as a voluntary marketing trustee. The Trustee is to work alongside the organisation’s Chair, Trustee Board and HQ to develop and deliver engaging marketing and PR plans and activities, to drive awareness of the charity and its impact, and to encourage new individual and corporate members to join the movement for a better Birmingham. The Marketing Trustee will be hands-on in delivering the strategy and will lead the marketing committee to create exciting and engaging marketing and communications to inspire and drive action.
Hours: Around 5 hours over the course of an average week, including evenings and weekends, although this may vary. There will also be a need to have the flexibility to attend meetings during the working day.

LoveBrum is now looking to strengthen its team with several new board members with experience and skills in a number of specialist disciplines, including marketing, HR, finance,
legal, fundraising, events, membership, and bid writing, along with individuals who can support the day to day operational activity of the charity.
