Do you have prior sales, business development or relationship management experience within a client facing role? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join this fast-developing business with stunning offices in Birmingham City Centre, offering flexible working.

This is an exciting time to join this thriving organisation as it goes through a period of real growth, with the Business Development Executive role being a new position and something you can really make your own. On a daily basis, you will be proactively seeking out, contacting and then developing new and existing relationships with a range of commercial clients, external partner networks and introducers. With a confident and articulate telephone manner, you will make regular outbound calls to prospective clients and networks in an effort to establish relationships and arrange meetings, with a view to converting leads through to bookings.

Experience of creating new business relationships, as well as developing and maximising existing relationships will be essential in this exciting opportunity. With strong administration skills, you will update the internal database with all leads and new connections, quickly creating proposals and getting quotes across to potential clients, working closely with internal teams throughout. Always looking for ways to improve current processes, you will review unsuccessful conversions and create regular reports on new ways of working, keeping an eye on the pipeline of new business.

As the Business Development Executive for this developing company, you will need to be a natural and tenacious communicator, guaranteeing the highest quality of service throughout. A skilled networker with the ability to develop strong business partnerships with ease, you will be acting as the public face of this dynamic and boutique business at a range of client meetings and networking events across the UK, always upholding the brands standards.

To succeed in this exciting new role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar business development or relationship management role, ideally from within the hospitality or an equally client-facing setting. You will have a solution driven approach, creating opportunities and acting as an ambassador on behalf of the company. Collaborative by nature, you’ll be keen to work with your internal colleagues to ensure success, supporting and liaising with all UK offices on a regular basis.
