We have a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Store Supervisor to join this highly regarded organisation based in North Birmingham.

Working for a company that truly expects excellence from all of its employees, you will be tasked with overseeing the day to day running of this busy FMCG organisation, making sure that customer demands are always met. As the Retail Store Supervisor, you will communicate with colleagues across the business, from your team on the shop floor through to the Store Manager, making sure that all business protocols are being followed in order to maximise sales and achieve daily targets and KPIs. Working in a busy and fast-paced environment, you will be able to adapt to change quickly, always putting the customer at the forefront of your decision making.

In this challenging Retail Store Supervisor role, the key to your success will be the relationships you develop with your team. Throughout the day you will assign tasks to your team, making sure they are following correct procedures and that they are motivated to achieve their targets. Supporting with inductions of new staff as well as the on-going development of your current team, you will act as the go-to person for any questions or queries they may have, so an approachable manner will be crucial.  Communicating all new products and promotions to your team, you will take responsibility for ensuring all promotions are merchandised appropriately, looking for creative ways to maximise sales.

For this exciting, varied and challenging opportunity, you will need to have previous Supervisory experience from a relevant industry, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. The ability to adapt quickly to changes will be crucial, as will strong communication skills as you will act as a key point of contact for the Store Manager, the wider team and customers. Alongside this, a positive and solution-focused attitude go a long way with this organisation, as they are always looking to create an environment where colleagues are motivated to do better and develop.
