Experienced Lettings Manager

£35,000 plus commission

We are working in partnership with an esteemed property firm, known for its outstanding reputation in the lettings industry. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Manager to join their vibrant team, working across their South and Central Birmingham offices.

As the Lettings Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the lettings operations, driving individual and team success while ensuring clients are provided with an unparalleled experience. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for managing daily enquiries across phone, email, and online platforms, as well as qualifying prospective tenants and arranging viewings. You’ll conduct property viewings, negotiate lettings offers, and complete all essential legislative checks, including Right to Rent. Managing tenancy applications, referencing, and new tenancy move-ins will also be key parts of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Additional, as the Lettings Manager you’ll play an instrumental role in ensuring individual and departmental lettings targets are consistently met and exceeded, while also generating new business for both lettings and property management. Collaboration with the sales and property management teams will be important, and you will be expected to liaise closely with landlords, ensuring their expectations are managed effectively.

To succeed in this exciting Lettings Manager opportunity, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced lettings agency, including leading a team. You will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets, and you’ll be proficient in property technology and lettings software. A thorough knowledge of Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston is essential, as will a clean Driver’s License to travel between client sites.

Crucially, you’ll be proactive, enthusiastic, and always willing to support your colleagues, while confidently communicating with clients both in person and over the phone. Your organisation skills will help you thrive in a busy environment, and you’ll be able to multitask, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure.
