Enthusiastic Hospitality Operations Coordinator

Would you thrive in a challenging and varied environment where no two days are the same?  We have an immediate opportunity for an ambitious, personable and forward-thinking Hospitality Operations Coordinator to join a unique and iconic venue group based in Birmingham City Centre.

Working as part of a close knit, hardworking and friendly team, you will have full responsibility for coordinating the on the day operational duties and catering requirements for all conferences and events across all venues within this organisation’s hire portfolio. You will ensure rooms are setup to internal standards for a varied programme of private and corporate events per detailed specifications you have received from the Sales and Events team, including everything from signage, to basic AV equipment, catering requirements and any special requests from clients. You will also engage with zero-hour workers and agency staff, leading by example and holding responsibility for managing staff where necessary.

Warm, friendly, proactive, and with an ability to build relationships easily with clients and internal departments alike, you will be looking for a role where you can truly let your personality shine. You will ideally have experience in hospitality and be comfortable delivering a high volume of events, ranging in scale from Private Dinners, Conferences, Meetings and Special Events. Strong administration skills will be advantageous as you will monitor and track event progress on internal systems and create reports after each and every event, logging client feedback and any areas of improvement.

Providing full support to the wider team with anything that may be required, as the Hospitality Operations Coordinator you will be the heart of the organisation, ensuring the everyday event operations flow smoothly. With a no job too big or too small attitude to your role, you will happily turn your hand to anything that is needed. You will have a minimum of one years’ experience in a Hospitality and Events setting and be able to demonstrate a passion for events throughout your career.
