On Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of July, Birmingham welcomes the return of one of the most anticipated events in every foodie’s calendar – the Colmore Food Festival.
The Festival, organised by the wonderful Colmore Business District, is free entry, open to all, and situated in Victoria Square – one of the city’s most iconic locations. A taster plate at the Festival costs as little as £4, so it is easy on your wallet too! With over 30 fantastic venues and vendors set to participate, ranging from independent cafes to local restaurants and some of the best coffee places Brum has to offer – it really will have something for everyone.
There are a few extra things that help the Colmore Food Festival stand out from other, similar events too: there will be a range of live local musicians and bands performing over the two days, helping to shine a light on local talent. The Festival will also feature special guest and local celebrity, often seen gracing your TV screens, Glynn Purnell! Glynn will be on hand hosting a variety of cooking demonstrations on the Kitchen Stage, giving you plenty of helpful hints and tips to try at home.
So this year, why not follow the lead of over 30,000 annual visitors who all visit the Festival, and head on down to what is sure to be a fantastic event.
