As we approach autumn, it gives me the chance to reflect on the seven months I’ve had at SimkissGuy! – Harry Wheeler

I’ve come such a long way since the 1st of April – even though it feels like it was only yesterday. As the months roll on I often forget where it all began. Seven months sounds like a relativity long time but its not really at all, you’d be surprised what happens in that time in the world of recruitment.
Even I found it hard to believe when Becky and Richard told me “no day is the same in recruitment” – but one new office, two new members of staff and seven months later I’d probably agree with them on that.
No one believes me when I tell them I’m excited to put a suit on every day and come into work. I guess the dizzy heights of Colmore Row aren’t for everyone, however it’s vital to me that I enjoy my job – because it allows me to be self motivated and it only helps when your team are as supporting as mine.
Every day presents itself with a new exciting challenge that we as a team have to overcome. I think that’s why
SimkissGuy is so unique and stands apart from other recruitment companies. We have a teamwork ethos which can get you through even the toughest of days, the “no job is too small” attitude flowing through the team has definitely rubbed off on me over the months and that’s taught me to give one hundred percent effort in everything I do all the time.
The experience SimkissGuy has given so far has really been an eye opener for me, as it would be for anyone in my age group, so far my baby steps into the big bad world have been a complete success.
It’s been a thrilling seven months and I simply can’t wait for what’s in store for me next!
