There are some exciting plans afoot for SimkissGuy Recruitment over the coming months. All will be revealed soon, but there is A LOT of work happening at the moment behind the scenes. We are affectionately calling it “The Project” (if you know, you know).
As part of this, I spent some time yesterday reading through some of the testimonials we’ve received from both our candidates and clients over the years. It made me so proud of how far we have come.
From starting SimkissGuy Recruitment in January 2013, with a four person (at a squeeze) windowless office – where my dream was to be able to move to an office with a window; to opening our flagship office on Edmund Street in 2019. Not only were there windows, but they were big, beautiful bay windows, and lots of them, that all apparently needed a special type of paint (don’t ask).
Then Covid. And a struggle to survive, in every way. I had no idea how difficult the journey would be for the next five years.
Thanks to the amazing network of clients, candidates, colleagues, business associates, and friends, we are still here. It is people who have made us.
For us at SimkissGuy Recruitment, recruitment has never been about ticking boxes to match job descriptions. It’s about people, conversations, connections, and building genuine relationships. So when someone takes the time to share their experience and tell us the difference we’ve made, it honestly means the world.
It’s those words of thanks and encouragement that remind us why we do what we do, and keep us motivated to always go that extra mile.
